6 subjects – 3 at HL and 3 at SL Plus the TOK and EE
Math SL or HL will be accepted
Bonus points – TOK and EE are added to the total score for admission consideration
A minimum of 28 is required for consideration. Admission is competitive and many programs will require a much higher score for admission
English Language Proficiency
Curriculum Americano
Graduation from an academic or college-prep program at an accredited high school (U.S.A. or International)
Complete at least 4 full years of English* (Academic – not ESL) including Grade 12 (Senior) level
Applicants to all programs except Humanities I, Social Sciences I and Music I must complete at least 3 years of Mathematics to the Grade 12 (Senior) level
SAT I – overall score of 1200 or greater (Reading/Math sections only) with a minimum score of 600 in each section (Institutional Code for SAT/AP – 0936) OR Submit an ACT composite score of at least 27
Advanced Placement (AP)
Applicants who have completed AP courses will be considered for admission to a Level I program
A.P. results from students who have completed the examinations as a challenge and have not taken the course at high school will be considered as having completed the required prerequisite courses for admission consideration. A minimum score of 4 is required
British Pattern
A minimum of five subjects, three distinct GCE Advanced Level(A2)/International ‘A’ Level subjects and 2 GCSE/IGCSE/ ‘O’ level subjects
English/English as a Second Language accepted for English requirement
All math and science required courses must be presented at the A2 level
