Students currently enrolled in an IB Diploma program outside the U.S. are required to send us their predicted IB marks (including TOK/essay bonus points).
Only higher level IB exams with scores of 5 or higher, in the subjects listed below, are eligible for credit.
Scores of 5 or higher on language IB exams fulfill the language requirement.
SAT/ACT - No minimum score tests to be admitted to Stanford.
ACT or SAT (Writing/Essay not required).
Advanced Placement (AP)
A maximum of 45 quarter units of transfer and test credit may be applied toward the undergraduate degree.
Score of 4 or 5 are eligible for credits.
Scores of 4 or 5 on language AP exams fulfill the language requirement.
A maximum of 10 units per discipline for some of the subjects which receive College Board AP credit.
Only British Advanced Level (A-Level) and Singapore Advanced Level (A-Level) exams are eligible to receive credit. A-Level exams from countries outside of the United Kingdom and Singapore are not accepted at Stanford.
Must have received a grade of A, B, C, or D.
The official "General Certificate of Education" must be submitted. Stanford does not accept the "Candidate's Statement of Results."
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford.
